The girls had a little Art Museum Field Trip today with their daddy. 🙂 One of the biggest perks of homeschooling is that we get to go to all the cool places when everyone else is at school!
They had the entire museum to themselves today. Such a treat!
LACMA has a great program where children can get a free membership plus one adult gets to go free with each child! With four kids, that means we now get four adults in for free each time, too. This means we never have to pay to go again – well, for 18 more years. Ha!
Anyhoo- the girls had a great time! They always do!
They love the Children’s area where you can paint to your heart’s content:
I love seeing what they’ve painted:
Having a snack outdoors at the cafe – we usually bring our own snacks and just get water!
While they were out and about, I was home with baby. 🙂 I realized that I have not set foot outside the house since she was born, except to go to the pediatrician that one time. So, today when she was fussy, I decided to take her for a walk. The Baby Bjorn was in the van (at the art museum) – so I had to improvise. I laid her sideways in the Ergo and then held her while we walked – it worked out pretty well, actually. 🙂
We didn’t make it too far before she fell asleep – so the walk worked! I am still slowly recovering and that small walk was about all I could handle for today. Baby steps.. 🙂
