The flu hit our house hard – and can I just say that the stories are true? This is a rough year for it. We got it around New Year’s, and I feel like we are all almost back to our normal selves, thankfully. It was a doozy! Needless to say, Christmas “Break” got extended as we all healed and got better. School work got pushed down to the minimum (math, music, and reading) – and we spent lots of time watching science documentaries in bed together (thanks, Netflix!)

Date with “the middles” to Barnes and Noble:
It was supposed to be my solo date with Violet (6), but she doesn’t like to go anywhere without Ginger (8). So, it was a two-on-one date (to quote The Bachelor – haha!)
At one point, we lost Ginger. We finally found her in the corner reading Land of Stories. Ha!
