Ellie, you are 9 months old now! Here’s a little of what you’re up to lately…
You have four teeth – two on the top and two on the bottom. You have a few teeth that look like they’re peeking through. Your smile has changed so much in the last month – it’s so cute!
You have found your voice. You are LOUD! You love to screech and squeal happily about everything.
You can sit up for a long time without falling over. You like to be on your tummy and scoot backwards. You’re not crawling yet – but you can slide backwards and sideways when you want to get somewhere.
You weigh 30 pounds – you are a chubby chunk. 🙂 Your sisters call you Chubby all the time and even made up a song that they sing to you called The Chubby Song. It always makes you smile and laugh – and you think your name is Chubby. So – if you get tired in the car and you start to get upset, they sing you the Chubby Song and you are so happy.
Your sisters LOVE you so much – they always want to be the lucky one to get to hold you. They love playing with you, and you are the center of their world. You like to be wherever they are. You especially like it when they get down on the floor and play with you. You get loads of attention from your three best friends.
You LOVE music. You will dance and laugh whenever I play you music or sing to you. You love all kinds of music. We listen to a lot of Jack Johnson together and dance around the kitchen with you in the Tula baby carrier.
I carry you everywhere, and hold you for naps when you’re sleeping. You love being close to me- and you’re always so happy when I’m holding you. I love holding you, so the feeling is mutual. 🙂
You are nursing all the time, of course – which is how you got so chubby. Ha!
You are so fun, and sweet, and I am SO thankful for you! You make every day so bright just by being you. We love you, love you, love you!
