Paprika’s violin teacher, Margo, is moving to Seattle! Margo has been Paprika’s only violin teacher, since Paprika started playing violin in August 2016 – so about fifteen months ago. We LOVE her! We are sad for us, happy for her.
Even Daisy loves her – so much so, that when I took this group picture, Daisy had to jump in the shot! Haha!
Margo has been a fixture at our house – Paprika’s violin lesson is an hour, but they would often go far longer than that. And then Margo would often stay for over an hour after lessons just to hang out and talk with us. She graduated from UCLA Music School a few years ago, and she is in that mid-20s stage of life – searching, etc. I think Evan and I seemed so OLD to her – haha – but she loved spending time with us anyway! 🙂 She became like a member of the family – and so we are super sad to see her go. She also taught ME violin for a time, as well as Violet (age 5). Violet and I didn’t have the same passion to continue with violin as Paprika does, though. Haha. 🙂
Anyhoo – Margo promised to stop by whenever she’s in LA to say hi and have dinner with us. I hope she does. We will miss her so. And now I have to find Paprika a new violin teacher (boo!) – I’m sure there are a lot of great ones out there, but no one will ever replace Miss Margalie!
