October has flown by – I can’t believe tomorrow is Halloween! Paprika (9) and Ellie (9 months) have their costumes all picked out. Ginger (6) and Violet (3) are still deciding. 🙂
We’ve had quite a busy little week here. Earlier this week, we went to a birthday party for some dear friends of ours! The party was about 2 blocks from the ocean – if you peek far down this sidewalk, you can see the beach! I love how all the houses in this neighborhood are on streets without cars. (You park your car in the back, through an alley). It makes it so fun (and safe!) for the kids to play outside:
The theme for the party was Hawaiian, which my girls loved, of course! Ginger and Violet made up a impromptu ballet show:
One of Paprika’s BIG dreams for as long as she can remember (probably since she was 2 years old) – is to visit Hawaii! This was almost as good…right? LOL
It’s still so hot here – but in the evenings, we take little walks to the park! I carry Ellie in the Ergo but for a picture, the girls hold her. I just don’t want her left out of the sister pictures:
We always stop at the Little Free Library along the way:
Picking out a new book to borrow is such a treat!:
We’ve had some fun with our piano practice. Here’s Mr. M in the Merida wig that Paprika wore 3 years ago for Halloween. I’d say it suits him. Hahaha.
We visited the Aquarium of the Pacific this week!
And at home, we checked out all sorts of things under the microscope. This is where having a husband with a degree in Chemistry really comes in handy. He is all about the science!
And, of course, we had a few trips to gymnastics, as well! Ginger and Violet want to live there – and they practice all day long at home!
It’s definitely their happy place!
Have a wonderful Halloween tomorrow – I can’t believe it’s here! And then we’re into November…which is the month Violet will turn 4 years old. How in the heck did that happen?! Where does the time go? 🙂
