We took our girls to The Pumpkin Patch this week. It’s a family tradition! This is our 9th year going to the Pumpkin Patch.
That feels like A LOT of Pumpkin Patch trips! One thing I love is getting a picture of them all in a wagon together. This is last year’s wagon picture. Amazing all that can change in just one year. 🙂
2014 (Just last year – time flies!):
2012 – was Violet EVER this small?!:
This year, we had this little pumpkin with us. Ellie (8 months) was not all that impressed with the Pumpkin Patch! Ha! It didn’t help that we were there right in the middle of her naptime. 🙂
Look at those legs! She wanted to run around after her sisters – but well, just sitting on the bench will have to do for now. 🙂
Playing in the Big Pumpkin:
The girls always LOVE riding the ponies. This is Ginger’s last year she’ll be able to ride. She just barely made it under the height requirement!
Violet on her little pony:
The Corn Maze is always a highlight. This is the first year we figured out that there’s a map to tell you the way out! So, this is the first year we made it out without retracing our steps through the entrance. Ha! Paprika (9) said we cheated by using the map. LOL
Feeding the baby goats:
Brushing the goats:
My Los Angeles city girls wish they lived on a farm! 🙂
They have a little petting zoo, and the girls LOVE feeding the animals.
Ginger (6) decided to take the wagon pulling into her own hands:
Violet (3) playing on the wooden train.
Jumping in the Bounce House! They said this was the best part of the whole trip.
Queens of the world on top of the Haystack!
Their daddy took them to pick out pumpkins – while Ellie napped in the Ergo! I found a quiet spot in a picnic shelter and she had a cozy nap while the big girls picked out their pumpkins.
So, that was our little Pumpkin Patch trip! On the way home, we stopped at In ‘N Out Burger – which is also kind of a tradition. It meant that I didn’t have to fix dinner after our long drive – which felt like a win-win to me. 🙂
