Ellie (2) is at such a fun age now. She loves to make her own hairstyles and dress herself. She was so proud of her hair accessories!
Ellie’s favorite “toy” right now is the Home Depot water spray bottle we had leftover from painting! I fill it up with water for her, and then she goes outside and waters everything…the plants, the grass…even the swingset! It occupies her for about 30 minutes at a time, so I am happy! 🙂 Plus, the plants get watered! Ha!
I’ve been taking the girls for lots of walks! Here we are last week on one of our many walks…
We went for a picnic on Saturday to the old school playground. Evan was working, so it was just me and the girls! I love the big, open field they have…
Ginger (7) packed the picnic basket. She REALLY wanted to take a picnic, so I said sure! But, I told her she had to make the food – and she did, happily. She loves doing anything with cooking and preparing food (so unlike me!)
I took the girls to another playground on Sunday (Evan was working). We got there and it was packed with birthday parties! We decided to stay to try it out – but Ellie (2) kept getting knocked around by big kids. After the fourth or fifth time of getting knocked over, she was ready to come home. So, we did!
Ginger (7) is a voracious reader. I gave her my Kindle (my Christmas present this past year) – but she really loves paper books more. I found her reading in bed the other night. She was reading a hardback book and using her Kindle as the light! How ingenious is that?!

This week, the girls also went to LACMA (LA County Museum of Art), and Disneyland (again!!!) – but all the pictures are on Evan’s phone. I will have to get them from him. 🙂
Hope you’re having a great week!
